There is a problem with
VARIABLE DISPLAY using the new 2005 conditional logic. The logic is based on
the date of birth in the ^T global (HCA/LCA) or a local variable F5 (BCA).
However, VARIABLE DISPLAY looks directly at the FS global to derive its
information and we haven't done the necessary pre-processing to properly look
at the right list. Solution: I added a simple $D check for the
BCA form to prevent future UNDEF errors, but I believe we should
consider a more appropriate fix for the situation. It is only a minor problem
for the HCA/LCA since all we see is that the code is not displayed. Received:

Problem: Ying-ling
from Alameda alerted us to a problem with the certificate display in
INTERACTIVE CENSUS TRACTING for the LCA form. The problem record is
1200201007581. The display option within the tracting
menu displayed a blank form. The reason is that the GLO variable is using the
wrong LRD information. GLO provides the base value that we use for naked
references in the FSDI routine to display the form. The FSCT06 routine was
using CTYC for the LRD data, but in fact this is the residence county. The program could not find the Alameda
occurrence record in the residence LRD (San Joaquin in this case). Solution: Use XIND instead of
CTYC when setting up the GLO variable in the FSCT06 routine. Received:

Problem: Routine FSHCAVL2:The pattern match strings did not account for a 'U' in the second comma piece (28AB number of previous csections) - all pattern match strings were redone.Emily also found a condition, which caused a problem on item 28B when 99 were being used on 2004 records - fixed FMT28B and CBC28B appropriately.Routine FSCH:The RRNG (and RNG) subfield check produce an error message for leading zeroes and set ERR but then ERR gets reset to zero if the number falls in the range - I modified the check so that if there are leading zeroes ERR is set to 1 and then it exits.This had a side effect with the CT variable where leading zeroes are okay. Modified the LCA,CT subfield check.Solution: Modified the next for 28AA and previous for 28B so that if 28AA is skipped we don't prompt for 28AB, 28AC,28AD and 28AE. I also added a PRE check for 28AA so that all the fields are blanked if 28AA is skipped. We also found that for COMPLETE INCOMPLETE to work properly I had to modify FSF(HCA,28AA,CHK,5) and ^FSF(HCA,28AE,CHK,POST) to kill/set %EXIT so that the appropriate items are prompted. These fixes have been applied to Net5. After we are satisfied that the errors are no longer occurring we can copy to Net4 for further testing. At some point the non-AVSSNET facilities will require fixes. We will also need to find any bad LCA records and decide what to do to resolve the problems.

how many certificates their clerks entered for a specific time frame. The results may not be accurate due to
the county linking and registering, which converts the form from HCA to
LCA. Sometimes the supervisor will ask the clerk to
run the report and with Classification 600, that option is not available, so
the clerk would run the report in the System Maintenance Option and receive
results for other clerks from different hospitals. Suggestion on how the Birth Clerk Supervisor have the tool to evaluate the clerk's performance of how many certificates entered, edits being made and only see clerks from their own hospital. Received:

STRIP^FSCBCU. The CBC28 call is already doing the strip function and removing
the commas. The STRIP call is assuming the old format for METHOD OF DELIVERY
and is checking for values less than 10 to prepend
a zero. Since the new format generates values that are 5 digits, the prepend does not happen and
the +val removes the leading zero. Solution: Remove the STRIP^FSCBCU

Problem: When a mm/yy format date is entered it is not being processed
correctly but mm/yyyy works. Solution: The subfield check for item 25B calls ETOH^FSUTIL.
It turns out that the ETOH^FSUTIL call does not care about dates in the
future. So when you put in 11/04 ETOH returns 11/04/2005 which it then uses
to compute month prenatal care began. Since it ends up with a difference
greater than 9 months it then produces an error. When you put in a date with
the format mm/yyyy ETOH returns that as an error
and then the subfield check does the MMYY^FSUTIL call. So what we need to do
is test the value returned by ETOH to make sure it is in the past. Solution:
split ^FSF("HCA","25B","CHK",1)
into two subnodes and check that the date returned
by ETOH is not greater than the birthdate. If it is
