93-044	In AMEND CERTIFICATE, the DATE ACCEPTED FOR REGISTRATION will not default to the current date.
93-063	In REGISTER BIRTH, field 12B-RELATIONSHIP TO CHILD, the entries of "SPRV MED REC" or "MED REC CLERK" are allowed when signing a certificate for a parent.
93-077	In REGISTER BIRTH, fields 1B-MIDDLE (name of child), 20A-USUAL OCCUPATION (father's), and 20B-USUAL KIND OF BUSINESS OR INDUSTRY (father's), an entry of "NONE" will be disallowed. Also, "NONE" will be disallowed in fields where "WITHHELD" or "NOT STATED" are currently disallowed, such as fields 7 and 8-STATE OF BIRTH (father's and mother's), and 18 and 19-RACE (father's and mother's).
93-100	In REGISTER BIRTH, the secondary race list and Spanish/Hispanic list have been updated to conform to 1994 specifications.
94-022	The new suboption DUPLICATE RECORD REPORT has been added.
94-025	In REGISTER BIRTH, field 25B-MONTH PRENATAL CARE BEGAN, an entry of "NONE" is disallowed. A "0" (zero) must be entered.
94-031	In REGISTER BIRTH, in field 5A-PLACE OF BIRTH for non-hospital births, a specific value must be entered. "NON-HOSPITAL" will not be the default.
94-041	In REGISTER BIRTH, fields 1A-NAME OF CHILD-FIRST, 1B-MIDDLE, and 1C-LAST, will not allow entry of a blank. Enter dashes ("--") if this information is not available.
94-044	A CERTIFIED ABSTRACT PRINT for births will not print a dash in place of the middle name if no middle name exists as part
of the record.
94-060	A Hospital Birth Record previously ^FILED as an incomplete record, can be linked to the Local Registration District record.
94-063	The new suboption, HP LASERJET FORM ALIGNMENT, has been created for hospital users to adjust the Birth Certificateprint coordinates.
94-068	Depending on the outcome of legislation, as of January 1, 1995, AVSS will prompt for fields 32-FATHER'S SOCIAL SECURITY NO. and 33-MOTHER'S SOCIAL SECURITY NO. and print on a new form.
94-074	The suboption LIST TO BE SENT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT has been modified to create the list and display records not yet added to a previous list. A previously printed list may also be re-printed.

CONFIDENTIAL MORBIDITY REPORT CHANGES:
93-042	Measles, indigenous and imported, has been added to the disease list. The WEEKLY MORBITY REPORT has been appropriately modified.
93-099	The MISSING FILE NUMBER REPORT can be run for all sites at one time.
93-122	In REGISTER CONFIDENTIAL MORBIDITY REPORT, a warning message will be displayed before filing if the last name is Spanish and the race is not Hispanic.
94-018	Hepatitis C Carrier has been added to the disease list. The WEEKLY MORBIDITY REPORT has been appropriately modified.
94-067	Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome has been added to the disease list and the WEEKLY MORBIDITY REPORT has been appropriately modified. Escherichia coli has been moved from CMR to summary reporting. The WEEKLY MORBIDITY REPORT has been modified to add the text (OTHER THAN TYPHOID FEVER) to Salmonellosis.
DEATH RECORD CHANGES:

93-105	A new death record has been released in January, 1994. The new form name is CDC.

93-145	In REGISTER CERTIFICATE, field 11-MILITARY SERVICE, "UNK" will be allowed when the beginning or ending date is unknown.
94-016	In field 26-NAME, RELATIONSHIP (of informant), if entry includes "SPOUSE", "HUSBAND", or "WIFE", values in fields 20 through 25 (residence, city, county and zip code of decedent) will be placed into field 27-MAILING ADDRESS (of informant).
94-016	In field 41-TYPE OF DISPOSITION(S), if entry is "RESIDENCE", values in field 27-MAILING ADDRESS (of informant) will be placed into field 40-PLACE OF FINAL DISPOSTION.
94-016	In field 123-PLACE OF INJURY, if entry is "RESIDENCE", values in field 27-MAILING ADDRESS (of informant) will be placed into field 125-LOCATION (of injury).

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE CHANGES:
93-054	In SECURITY REPORT, the message NO ENTRIES IN SECURITY TABLE will appear if there are no entries to report.
93-072	In DEVICE TABLE, listing the terminal or printer types will cause an "end-of-page" prompt when the display reaches the bottom of the screen.
94-039	The message AUTOMATED INTEGRITY CHECKER HAS NOT COMPLETED. SYSTEM ACCESS IS LIMITED WHILE INTEGRITY CHECKER IS RUNNING will be displayed when a log-on is attempted while the database validation routine is running.
94-042	The KILL RECORD DATA option will be disabled while the Operating System Integrity Checker is running.
