In addition to completing the hardcopy VS 136 (Certificate of Finding of Unknown Child), please enter the birth information into AVSS.
Because most of the information is “unknown”, please refer to the Birth and Death Registration Handbook or the California Birth Certificate Electronic Submission Specifications (CBC Specs) for the appropriate entry for the related field.
