• Present Situation (1): Nearly all births (99.9+% ) are registered by AVSS and 78% of all deaths are being entered into AVSS for data base purposes. All AVSS birth and death records are being transmitted from local health registration district (LRD) of occurrence to the Office of Vital Records (OVR) and reallocated to the LRD of mother’s residence.
