If a match was obtained, the local file number, or LFN, from the AVSS birth certificate is added to the AVSS death certificate and is called the LFNBC. Conversely, the LFN from the CDC is added to the LCA and called the LFNDC.

A variable called DBMATCH is stored in the CDC record. It contains a list of up to 8 matching CDC variables, e.g. the 7:“1,2,3,4,33,35,37.”
